The Red Baron is by far the most recognizable plane from the First World War. The Fokker Dr.1 was a German fighter, incredibly maneuverable (for that time) but quite slow as a triplane. It was flown by the famous Manfred von Richthofen, a true ace of aviation during the Great War, who aroused widespread fear and recognition.
The model made of COBI construction blocks carefully recreates (in a new 1:32 scale) the historical aircraft from the Great War period. It has a movable propeller, wheels and wing ailerons. High-quality prints perfectly recreate the historical markings of the aircraft. We’ve completely dispensed with stickers! The solid construction makes it a perfect model for both play and display. The model includes a sensational figure of a pilot: the famous baron Manfred von Richthofen known as the “Red Baron”. The figure of the pilot in a characteristic officer uniform can be placed in the cockpit at the controls of an aircraft armed with two machine guns.
The Limited Edition also includes additional bricks with prints recreating an alternative painting of the famous plane. A block base allows you to display the collector’s set. The black laser-engraved plate contains the model name and an individual limited edition number. The whole is complemented by a certificate of authenticity with a handwritten signature of the President of COBI. There is an individual number on it, consistent with the plate and the cardboard outer packaging.
Thanks to COBI construction blocks, the legend of the Great War has returned in a collector’s edition. It is the perfect model for fans of the history of aviation and inspires admiration and attracts attention. Seeing such a colorful set, carrying with it a piece of history, it is impossible to not to get excited by the Baron’s Fokker.
